A new feature film, written and directed by
Luis Armando Roche,
has been shot during the second semester of 2009.
"SUDDENLY, THE FILM" - "DE REPENTE,
LA PELÍCULA".
A black comedy, starring:

Have obtained funding
from the
Centro Nacional Autónomo de Cinematografía (CNAC)
for the termination of the film.
Expect the film to be ready for a Christmas release.
The last four projects produced by Arsiete C.A.
have been:
“Virtuosos” a document on the greatest interpreters of popular Venezuelan music of the
XXth century. The film is the product of more that 30 years of recopilation of documents in 16mm and video. The film obtained
the Premio del Mejor Documental de Televisión of the Concejo Municipal Libertador 2000,and participated in the Festival
de Biarritz 2002.
“Bach en Zaraza”, was shot in Super 16 and its blow up was made at Duart in NY with its
Dolby SR Digital track mixed at Sound One. The sound is by Hector Moreno and the premix in Pro Tools 5.1 is by Ricardo Martinez.
The film won the Premio de Mejor Ficción (Best Fiction) and Mejor Fotografía (Best Photography) to José
Gregorio “Cheo” Gonzalez, at the Premio Anual del Concejo Municipal Libertador 2001. The film was chosen for
the Festival FIPA 2002 in France.
“Yotama Se Va Volando”. The film was shot with two Sony 500WS PAL. Its colorizing
was done at GTC Digital by Phillippe Cappel, and the blowup was made through an Arrilaser machine at GTC, Paris. The production
design is by Gerald Romer.Photography by Vitelbo Vásquez. Casting by Carmen Laroche. Editing by Giuliano Ferrioli,
assisted by Manuel Márquez. The digital effects and titles by Yuri Ferrioli. The sound is by Mario Nazoa and it was
premixed in Pro Tools 5.1 by Ricardo Martinez, who also did the foley. The premixed sound tracks were mixed to Dolby Digital
5.1 at Les Auditoriums de Joinville, France. The laboratory work was done by GTC - Paris and Bolivar Films - Caracas.The
film was shown at the festivals above.
"Ópera Cósmica" is a 24 minute program where the director Luis Armando
Roche analyses the modern theater staging of "Ordo Virtutum" by Hildegard Von Bingen. The film has been selected
to be shown at FIPATEL film market in Biarritz, France in February 2004.
"Luis Armando Roche, cine a través
del espejo" (film through the looking glass), 45 minute documentary on the filmmaker. Screenplay and direction: Manuel
Márquez and Ricardo Armas.
Available in September, in Spanish, by the same authors of the documentary, a book about
